Detailed description

Regent Park Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Fort Mill, South Carolina, just 15 miles south of downtown Charlotte.

Regent Park Golf Club first opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by Ron Garl.

The course sits on rolling terrain, uneven lies should be expected. Some of the greens are multi-tiered and all of them are average-sized and undulating. Man-made and natural water hazards come into play on ten holes.  A combination of scenic trees, flowers, and bushes have really enhanced the look of the course.

The most difficult hole is #8, a 467-yard, par 4, highlighted by a dogleg right fairway, which is deceiving off the tee because you must really hit your shot to the left side of the fairway instead of right.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,729 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,692 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 542 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 173 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 8, a 467-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 14, a 327 yard par-4.

Regent Park also has a comprehensive. on-site, practice and training complex.

The course closed in 2016. The property will be converted to residential housing.
